Stanton, CA – Citing her commitment to being a representative of the community, today Mayor Rigoberto Ramirez, Mayor Pro Tem Al Ethans, former Mayor Ed Royce Sr. and Councilmember David Shawver of the Stanton City Council announced their support for Young Kim for Assembly in the 65th District. Kim continues to add significant local support in the election for the 65th Assembly district.

“Young Kim is the candidate that represents the pulse of this district,” said Councilmember David Shawver. “She has been one of the hardest working members of this community for 20 plus years. I know she will be a true representative for us in the State Assembly. That’s why she has my full support.”

The 65th Assembly District includes the entire city of Stanton. The newly announced council members join the previously announced members of the Buena Park City Council, Mayor Steve Berry and Council Member Fred Smith in supporting Young Kim.
